Family Support Unit

The target group of The Family Support Unit for children with learning disorders is families  who have children with learning difficulties (e.g. ADHD, dyslexia, diagnosed or undiagnosed reading and writing difficulties) and professionals involved with these children. Children with learning disorders often lack the support they need, for instance at school.

The Family Support Unit provides:

• Telephone consultations for families and professionals.
• Courses for parents of children with learning disorders. The courses include medical, pedagogical and social information.
• Individual consultations for parents.
• Further education for professionals, partly in cooperation with other types of further education at Ågrenska.
• "Open House" inviting families and professionals to listen to lectures on relevant topics.
